Knowle West Media Centre is Bristol’s first purpose built centre for creative media work and was officially opened in April 2008. The Media Centre boasts state of the art media facilities that are available for private hire and for use by tenants at a discounted rate. These facilities include having access to a 100MB broadband hook-up that is suitable for the transfer of broadcast quality media, high specification editing and sound recording suites, in house design services, meeting rooms and a 70 seat theatre with a cinema standard digital screen. The centre has six private and eight shared space environments for creative businesses to rent from as little as £516 per month. It also provides support for businesses renting the space by allowing them access to networking opportunities, business advice, training and mentoring.
