The Course Leader will lead an immersive and intensive acting programme for ambitious students aged 16–18 who aspire to train at drama school or pursue a professional acting career. Responsible for the planning and delivery of the Autumn, Spring and Summer Terms of the Young Conservatoire, the post holder will create a rigorous, supportive and inspiring learning environment that mirrors the expectations of drama school training. Through practical workshops, expert teaching, constructive feedback and industry insight, the Course Leader will support students to develop their acting, voice and movement skills, build confidence, prepare audition material and engage professionally with performance and collaborative work.
Contact: Part time 10 month fixed term, term time only position.
Hours: 5 hours per week during the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms, comprising 150 contracted hours across the academic year (10 weeks per term × 3 terms).
Salary: £2,829–£3,071 per annum (based on full time equivalent of £35,000–£38,000)
