Lampshade Workshop at The Stradling Collection

Bristol in Light: Draw Bristol on a Lampshade Thurs 26 February 5.30 – 8.30pm

Join us for a unique artistic experience at the Stradling Collection. In this workshop, you will learn how to capture the essence of Bristol on a lampshade under the guidance of artist Lisa Malyon. Lisa will take you through every step of the process, from positioning your image to holding the pen and exploring mark-making techniques, so you can create your own original piece of art.

If you feel unsure about where to start, Lisa will help you build confidence in drawing directly onto a lampshade. A selection of templates will be available to inspire you and support your creativity until you feel ready to design freely.

By the end of the session, you will take home a lampshade featuring your own unique drawing of Bristol, a piece that looks beautiful on its own and even more stunning when illuminated.

Please remember to bring a bag to carry your lampshade home.
