Your chance to explore colour & composition with artist Anna Hymas on our painting retreat
From 10–13 October 2025, artist Anna Hymas will lead her retreat at Court House Farm: Still Life in Colour. It’s also our 15th creative retreat – a milestone we’d love you to be part of.
We now have just 2 ensuite rooms left in our historic Manor House and we would like to invite you to join us.

…Because sometimes you need to step away to step deeper into your creativity. Court House Farm is a place of history and beauty, where centuries-old spaces meet modern comfort. Retreats here are designed to give you time, focus and inspiration, with everything taken care of so you can simply create and meet like-minded others.
Why Anna Hymas?
Anna’s work is full of colour and quiet joy. She writes:
“I love to use still life as a starting point for colour, shape, brush marks and ideas. Looking at the everyday and trying to make something extraordinary from it.”
Her approach is gentle and encouraging – ideal for both beginners and practising artists.
Why now?
Because we are a small group of 6, and we have space for 2 more to join. Our intimate group size makes this an experience not to be missed – Anna will be able to give you lots of personal attention and 1-to-1 guidance. The mix of fellow creatives – from beginners to those with more experience – makes the retreat richer for everyone.
