Join more than 200 young performers from West of England Music and Arts (WEMA) at Beacon Hall for Created and Connected Live! a truly inspiring and inclusive celebration of young music and arts talent from North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Bath & North East Somerset and beyond.
It promises to be a joyful evening of musical journeys, creativity and togetherness, showcasing an array of talent nurtured and supported by West of England Music and Arts, a charity which works to inspire everyone to thrive and achieve through music, arts and culture.
Audiences can expect massed ensembles drawn from WEMA’s Music Centres, including a senior players’ orchestra, jazz and concert band, rock and pop groups, youth DJ sets, plus the Music Explorers 100 – a massed instrumental ensemble featuring new and novice primary-age musicians.
The evening will also include a series of engaging short films, highlighting WEMA’s wider work in culture, arts and creative health, which operates across the region, including Bristol.
More than just a concert, this is a celebration of what happens when young people are given the opportunity to create, perform and belong. It will shine a light on the breadth of young talent in the region, and on the teachers, staff, families and communities who help make that creativity possible.
We are very grateful to our partners Bristol Beacon for giving us this opportunity to use their iconic venue for this night of creativity and connection.
