The Old Drumbank Studios is a multi-disciplinary co-working building, currently home to a community of artists, makers and small businesses. Situated just off Bristol’s thriving Gloucester Road, for years it was a place where people learnt to play instruments and local bands rehearsed. Sadly, after Drumbank Music closed down the property fell into a state of disrepair. In late 2021 Offbeat Spaces got the keys and work began breathing a new lease of life into the building.
Fast forward to the present day, and as well as the flexible studio & co-working spaces upstairs, there’s now an on-site cosy, public Cafe & Shop space – home to Hot Wax Bristol (selling ‘vinyl records & things’) and serving Radical Roasters Coffee plus delicious pastries & cakes! You’ll also find artwork for sale from the various creatives working in the building, and Events & Workshops are hosted throughout the year.
