Hello! I’m Vicky Takooree, an artist and jeweller based in the vibrant city of Bristol, UK, and I love bringing a splash of colour to the world through my bold, handcrafted jewellery. Think bright, eye-catching pieces that not only make a statement but are also perfect for those with sensitive skin!
At Pink Lime Mango, I create unique jewellery from polymer clay and resin, all responsibly made with a focus on sustainability. In 2022, I was delighted to receive the Sustainable Impact Champion Award, which reflects my dedication to creating art that respects our planet. After completing a 9-week bootcamp in Organisational Sustainability, I’m even more passionate about eco-friendly practices. I re-use all my offcuts to craft new jewellery and strive to incorporate recycled silver into my designs. My gift boxes and bags are made from FSC-certified paper and card, making every detail of my work intentional and thoughtful.
My journey in the arts began with years of study, culminating in a Masters Degree in Fine Art in 2014. I’ve explored a variety of roles, including positions in the National Health Service, retail, and marketing, but health challenges led me to find a creative outlet at home. That’s when I launched Pink Lime Mango in 2020, rekindling my childhood passion for making polymer clay brooches.
With experience from silversmithing and blacksmithing workshops, I’ve honed my skills to create truly unique pieces. As someone with a nickel allergy, I was inspired to design colourful statement earrings that everyone can enjoy, and that’s how Pink Lime Mango came to life!
I believe that jewellery is a form of self-expression and a way to bring joy through colour and creativity. Join me in celebrating the beauty of handmade, responsibly crafted jewellery—let’s brighten up the world together!
PS Special thanks to my son, Luke Kiefir, for the beautiful photo. 💖💚🧡
