In Bristol Studio has a shared studio/workshop space available now in our Associate Space. Half of the studio is already shared by a collective made up of:
The monthly service charge (rent) for half of the space is £262.50, plus a refundable deposit of £262.50. This includes 24/7 access, wifi, water and business rates PLUS access to our shared Ceramics, Print and Wood Workshops . It’s Unit 1 and the floor plan and dimensions are below. There is already a low partition wall in the space that runs from left to right so your half would be clearly separated from the other half. There are no windows, but there are skylights so there’s plenty of daylight.
Please be aware that it is located in a factory/warehouse setting that we share with Wards Signs and some other artists that aren’t part of In Bristol Studio so it can be noisy, dusty and cold in the winter!
However, you will join an active, friendly creative community and will also have access to our Print, Ceramics and Wood Workshops, which are based upstairs in our main studio building. You can find out more about our studio facilities here https://inbristol.org/
We have six units in our Associate Spaces, three of which are shared studios with artists, illustrators and painters in residence, one is home to a metal worker, one to a wooden toy maker and another to a contemporary artist.
