The Bristol Young Heroes Awards recognise the valuable contribution that Bristol’s young people make to the city, particularly those who have overcome adversity, and we are looking for your nominations.
The awards aim to shine a light on the young people across Bristol who would not otherwise be recognised. As well as honouring finalists at the ceremony itself, the awards are designed to build aspiration, generate pride and open doors to work experience for the young nominees.
Nominations in eight categories are open to anyone aged between 11-19 living within a BS postcode. In addition, there is a Team of Heroes category, recognising an entire team that has supported young people in Bristol.
The Creative Hero Category recognises a young person who has exceeded expectations, accomplished something great or inspired others through their creativity. This can include music, dance, film, theatre, arts etc.
- Criteria will focus on the creativity, resilience, growth, and the impact of the nominees work on others. Scoring will focus on nominee’s passion and ability to inspire others and the nominee’s achievements.
