Welcome to the September 2020 edition of the Bristol Creatives' e-bulletin - the back to work/school edition! I hope you are all keeping safe and well, and that you are managing to find ways to be creative and productive during these unusual times.  
Whilst physical/in real life exhibitions, workshops, classes and courses that adhere to social distancing rules are slowly starting up again, we also have a number of virtual events you can take part in listed on our What's On pages.  We also have the latest news, advice, guidance and details of grants and funding opportunities.  As well as a load of great creative opportunities - read on to find out more!
Are you running online classes, courses, performances or exhibitions?
If you are running any in real life or online/virtual activities - we encourage you to list them in the What's On/Event section of the website so that we can help you promote them!  If they are taking place online please mark them as 'Virtual' clearly in the event title.  Get in touch if you need a hand -
NEW Visual Artists Association Membership Discount For Bristol Creatives

The Crafty Hen - We offer fun craft workshops for hen parties delivered by professional crafts people. Our friendly tutors will help you make many things to use and wear.  We offer sessions in making garters, nipple tassels or customising knickers. We can also offer jewellery making workshops where you can make tiaras and hairpins, cocktail rings, textile corsages and accessories. You can even make your own bunting in our fun workshops... which you can use to decorate your wedding.

Centrespace Studios is a co-operative and has been offering artists, designers and craft makers studio space at affordable rates for over 20 years in the heart of Bristol. The industrial building is owned by the co-operative members and through ongoing voluntary commitment by members has been developed to improve the working environment.  

The Centrespace Gallery is an independent not for profit exhibition space available in the heart of Bristol, which actively seeks to show unique and diverse work across all mediums of art including painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, installation, performance and film. The ethos of the gallery is to show fresh and interesting work, with a preference for encouraging new artists, exhibitions range from solo shows to group shows and there is always something worthwhile to see.


Several other members also joined up or renewed this month, but haven't listed themselves in our online Creative Directory yet so we can't highlight you here!  Visit our online Help page for information on how to add your listings to the website, or email for more information.  It's easy to do and it will help with your marketing, and generate new work opportunities too!
