Welcome to the following NEW Bristol Creatives Gold Members:

Barbara Thurzo - I'm an acrylic painter based. As an introvert I have always struggled with words, and painting became my way to express my thoughts and feelings.

Clementine Moon Floral Design Wedding, events and sympathy florist. Wild, romantic and striking blooms. Eco-floristry focus and all designs created without floral foam.

Nathaniel Lamp - I am a visual artist who's practice is mainly in figurative painting and drawing. My work is constantly evolving but I take inspiration from both European and American art from the late 19th and 20th centuries. I am open to commissions and actively looking to exhibit my work in the near future.  Please contact me with any enquiries regarding  a commission.

Quick Start Art Oil Painting Workshops - I get a real buzz from teaching people to draw and paint. I'm 90% self-taught so it's from this thirst for learning that I draw when I'm designing a workshop for students. It's basically everything I wished I'd been taught at college! I currently run two-day self-contained Oil Painting workshops.

TG Freeson - Through my work I aim to show how objects and subjects interact with their surroundings and vice versa. All the materials I use -such as rock salt, paper, water, pigments, PVC films, are a metaphor for the simple chemical elements we are made of. All the animate and inanimate beings in our surroundings transform, transfer and refract their shapes and colours by means of physical and chemical changes, but we are not able to see that and understand as for the limits of our senses.

We'd also like to thank the following memebrs who recently renewed their annual membership:

Bristol Textile Quarter (BTQ) provides workspace and equipment on an affordable, flexible basis for Bristol's textile community.  BTQ has space for 8-10 resident members and also sells memberships on a daily and weekly basis for those working on short-term projects.

Claire Keville is an experienced fashion business consultant specialising in providing advice and guidance to start-ups and those in the early years of trading. With over 15 years working in design, retail, business support and production management, Claire has a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw upon and a passion to pass this forward.

We'd also like to welcome our new sponsor Raw Umber Studios, a non-profit organisation that run short, focussed workshops in Bristol and Stroud, teaching the skills needed to create representational art in traditional and digital media.
