UK Gov: Self-Employment Income Support Scheme

The fourth Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) grant is now available, covering 1 February 2021 to 30 April 2021. Claims must be made before 1 June 2021.

The fourth SEISS grant is calculated at 80 per cent of three months’ average trading profits, paid out as a single payment, capped at £7,500.

To be eligible for the fourth grant you must:

  • Be a self-employed individual or a member of a partnership.
  • Have traded in both 2019-20 and 2020-21 tax years.
  • Be currently trading but are impacted by COVID-19 or have been trading but are temporarily unable to do so due to COVID-19.

There will be a fifth grant covering May 2021 to September 2021. You will be able to claim from late July if you are eligible.
