Hashtag LoveBristolArts 19-23 Oct 2020 - How You Can Get Involved

Bristol Arts Marketing are planning #LoveBristolArts from 19-23 October – a collaborative campaign to support Bristol’s arts and culture sector at this challenging time. We hope as many of you can take part as possible.
We are having a different focus each day (profiling a different area of Bristol arts), with a day dedicated to independent artists & collectives:
Monday – Launch day! (everyone)
Tuesday – art galleries, venues, visitor attractions
Wednesday – independent artists and collectives
Thursday – arts companies & freelancers (i.e. non venue based arts companies and freelancers)
Friday – Final day (everyone)
What do you need to do?

  1. Choose 2-3 ways that audiences can really help support you at this time (see press release attached for 10 we’ve suggested). I will confirm in my next email if you need to send these to us to include on the Visit Bristol page.
  2. During the campaign week share the graphic on social media with the hashtag #LoveBristolArts and the way audiences can help you.
  3. (If you have the capacity), setup a landing page/news item link about the campaign, including 2-3 ways audiences can help you + link to partner matrix organisations as well (+ others if you can).
  4. (If you have the capacity) send an email to your audiences on Monday 19th October about the campaign and encourage them to get involved and use the #hashtag. As with Flash sale an email to your database will probably be the most effective way of mobilising your audiences to engage with the campaign.

Please do not share the graphics or the hashtag before 19th October!

We are keen for as many artists and freelancers to get involved with this campaign as possible so we can shine a light on the brilliant work you're doing. Please email eloise@theatrebristol.net if you'd like to take part.
