UWE: Survey - impact of COVID 19 on the creative & cultural industries in the South West

From catastrophe to opportunity? This UWE survey is aimed at understanding how COVID 19 has impacted the creative and cultural sector in South West England.

We’re hoping to learn how you have been affected by COVID 19, how you have adapted, and what you are doing to plan for the future. We’d like to learn from you what the most pressing issues you face are, and how the sector can be supported to recover.
This survey is being carried out by the Creative Economy Unit at UWE Bristol. We’re dedicated to helping create a more equitable and resilient creative economy. With Watershed, we are leading a number of projects that support the creative economy, including Bristol+Bath Creative R+DSouth West Creative Technology NetworkREACT and supported Network for Creative Enterprise and Creative Producers International
This research project is led by Dr. Tarek Virani - Associate Professor of Creative Industries at UWE Bristol. We will use the results to lobby policymakers and stakeholders with a more complete understanding of how the creative and cultural sector functions; what its social, economic, and political needs are; and how we can help you make it thrive. We’ll also make our results available as a public report.
