Artists needed!

GL Enterprises is a team from Bristol Law Firm Gregg Latchams LLP who are taking part in the Prince's Trust Enterprise Project with the aim of raising £10,000 for the charity by September 2011. The funds raised will go towards helping young people in the South West region exclusively to get into work or go on to further education. GL Enterprises has decided to host two art events and is calling all artists for their help and support!

The first is the "Anonymous Exhibition" which will take place at View Gallery, Hotwell Road from 1 to 4 September. The idea is that artists donate an original postcard sized piece of work 7x5 inches or 5x8 inches. It can be any medium (including textiles, photography, ceramics) and on any subject but the artists name must be signed and printed on the reverse so that the art remains anonymous. All postcards will be sold for a minimum donation of £25. All artists involved will have their names catalogued and the team hope to promote the events with some interest from the press. Any artists who would like to donate a postcard should send it to Gregg Latchams LLP (Marissa Rabone), 7 Queen Square, Bristol BS1 4JE by 26 July 2011.

The second event is an art auction for larger pieces of work. The venue for this event is still to be confirmed but any artists who think they may be able to offer their support should contact
marissa.rabone@gregglatchams.com.

The team is asking for your support in either of these events and for you to help spread the word!

The Prince's Trust heavily supports the art world and this is an exciting project to help raise money for a great cause whilst hosting exciting events for the Bristol art scene!

The team would like to thank in advance anyone who feels able to lend a hand - thank you for your support.
