Trees of Music: Charity Campaign Manager (remote position)

RAIN is seeking an experienced charity campaign manager to start working immediately on a campaign bridging the worlds of classical music and reforestation. More details here.

We are fundraising to plant brazilwood, a highly endangered species used to make bows for stringed instruments. This project is part of a broader initiative to encourage stakeholders in the classical music community to consider their relationship with nature. Several high-profile artists and media personalities have come on as ambassadors.

Part-time, 3 month role (initially)

We need a manager to oversee and coordinate campaign development and delivery.

Prior experience in campaigning and knowledge of the classical music world are essential.

What you'll be doing:

  • Primarily campaign delivery: You will be maintaining strategic relationships, encouraging critical stakeholders to support and promote the campaign.

  • Stakeholder management: Manage key relationships with senior classical musicians, agents and stakeholders including internal leadership team, partners, PR directors and agency leads to identify synergies and maximise effectiveness of campaigns. Encouraging classical musicians, patrons and ambassadors to undertake key PR tasks. 

  • Team leadership: Lead a small team of volunteers and manage the leadership team, articulating the support you need to succeed. 

Experience desired: 

  • A strong, self-starting marketer with significant experience delivering into the music sector preferably classical. 

  • Comfortable building media and copy 

  • Practised team leader, with ability to manage multiple stakeholders, ability to work across multiple media platforms, with proven experience within one-to-one marketing communications essential

  • A curious, brave, passionate leader, who fosters a culture of empowerment

  • Experience working in a lean, agile environment

  • Experience with CRM useful

What can we offer you?

  • We have very limited funds at the moment, and will be able to pay £1000/month for a part-time position.  Come back to us about what you can do for this sum.

  • We will develop with you a results-based framework that allows this to increase as the campaign achieves the targets we set.
