In Between Time: Three Roles (1 x P/T + 2 x Freelance)

In Between Time are happy to announce three new job opportunities, we are looking for creative and self-motivated people to take on the following roles:

  • Brand and Communications Manager
  • Digital Producer (Freelance)
  • Programme Producer (Freelance)

About the roles:

Brand and Communications Manager

Part Time (3 days per week)
Fixed term to 31st March 2022
£16,800 pro rata  (Full Time equivalent £ 28,000)

As In Between Time’s Brand and Communications Manager you will lead the strategic development and delivery of our brand, tailoring communications to our different stakeholders ranging from artists to participants and audiences. Our communications and marketing are about understanding people and building awareness of how our work can satisfy their needs.    

We’re looking for an experienced and versatile marketing professional who can promote our work to the widest possible audience and raise the profile of its impact. Our ideal candidate has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns, ideally within the cultural sector and be able to both deliver day to day marketing activities, as well as develop longer term strategy. 

We are a small but dynamic and energetic team so we need someone who can work to tight deadlines, both independently and collaboratively as well as being flexible enough to deal with a rapidly changing environment, especially as we continue to respond to the pandemic while moving into an exciting next stage of our story. 

Freelance Programme Producer 

Freelance fixed term May to July 2021
£9000 (approx. 36 days over 3 months)

As Programme Producer you will lead the production and delivery of our artistic programme culminating in In Between Time’s IBT21 Festival in June 2021. IBT21 is an artistic programme emerging from this year of change. A programme of hybrid artistic events mixing live with digital experiences online, in theatres and galleries (within current social distancing guidelines) and outdoors. 

You will be pragmatic, able to think on your feet, problem-solve working alongside a newly appointed Digital Producer to co-deliver. You will be personable, settle quickly into our team. You will have experience of managing teams of freelancers and working with artists to realise ambitions. You will have passion and commitment to audience engagement and inclusion.

Freelance Digital Producer

Freelance fixed term May to July 2021
£9000 (approx. 36 days over 3 months)

As Digital Producer you will lead the development and delivery of our digital programme and support the Programme Producer in delivery of In Between Time’s IBT21 Festival comprising hybrid, live and digital artistic experiences. Understanding the digital landscape is paramount to creating engaging digital experiences that push the boundaries of the medium and enhance the live alternative. 

Our ideal candidate will bring creative ideas to innovate with digital processes and platforms. You will also possess the technical skills to work with artists and lead the project management of a range of digital artworks to the highest production standard. You will work with us to upskill our team through hands-on experience.

You do not need to live in Bristol to apply for these positions. As a team we operate flexible and distributed working practices working online and in our office in Bristol. Although you will need to be present in Bristol during the delivery of the IBT programme and actual live events (where restrictions allow), most work can be done remotely. We will pay for accommodation for periods when staff are required to be in Bristol in person.
