DIY Arts Network: Culture Board Representative

We are looking for a freelancer to represent the needs and concerns of artists and independent practitioners on Bristol’s One City Culture Board. The board is chaired by Cllr Cheney and Lynn Barlow from UWE Bristol and will play a key role in ensuring that cultural and creative industries are at the heart of the city’s social and economic recovery. The representative will also be part of the DIY Arts Network Cultural Leaders Group to ensure that freelancers are strongly represented in this forum and to feedback any ideas and actions from the Culture Board meetings. This is a paid position offering a total fee of £2,000. Additional funding is available to support access needs.

This role will be offered for an initial term of one year. The DIY Cultural Leaders Group will shortlist 6 candidates from the list of applicants. The network will then nominate their chosen representative from this shortlist.
