Arnolfini: Two Roles - Enagagement Producer & Bookshop Assistant

Arnolfini is Bristol’s International Centre for Contemporary Art. We provide a venue and platform for many art forms with a strong focus on contemporary visual arts and a commitment to being open and accessible to all. Arnolfini will be 60 years old in 2021 and in recent months we have redesigned the organisation as an independent charity that is part of the University of West of England, Bristol – located in Bush House, on Bristol’s iconic harbourside, Arnolfini now forms an integrated part of the university’s city centre campus. A contemporary arts centre with an international reputation for visual arts, Arnolfini also houses a multi-purpose 200 seat theatre/auditorium, a busy community and education programme, a successful specialist independent bookshop, thriving café bar (operated by Bristol Beer Factory) and a range of studio and office spaces.

Engagement Producer
This role is intended to make a significant contribution to Arnolfini’s ability to achieve its mission and in particular its ambitions to reach and engage more deeply with a larger number and wider range of people across Bristol and the South West. The key aim of the role is to develop and deliver a series of audience development, community and education projects and activities that support and inform Arnolfini’s cultural programme.

The Engagement Producer is a central role within the programme team, working closely with the Head of Programme, and by representing the organisation to diverse communities will feed into the life and work of the wider organisation.
