University of Bath: Producer - Immersive Technologies

University of Bath’s Office for the Arts and Centre for the Analysis of Motion, Entertainment Research and Applications (CAMERA) are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and talented producer.

You will work to draw out content arising from CAMERA’s research work in motion capture, virtual and augmented reality and healthcare technologies to facilitate a series of novel, public-facing productions at The Edge, and at other venues in Bath and Bristol.

CAMERA is a flagship EPSRC Digital Economy Research Centre specialising in computer vision, machine learning and biomechanics research across the Departments of Computer Science and Health. It has a dedicated motion capture studio on campus which delivers a mix of leading research programmes and industry facing commercial projects with companies including Aardman, Satore Studio and Marshmarshmallow LaserFeast. CAMERA works collaboratively with leading Creative Industries companies including Cubic Motion, Double Negative, Foundry and Synthesia. CAMERA is also a founding member of Immerse UK.

University of Bath's Office for the Arts run The Edge, a centre for creativity and discovery which encourages and nurtures arts/research collaborations, providing a place where artists, audiences, researchers and academics can find new perspectives and fertile ground to showcase new thinking and ideas. 

This is a part-time role (21.9 hours) for a fixed-term period until February 2021.

Salary Starting from £26,715, rising to £32,817 pro rata
