The Crafty Hen: Craft Workshop - Logistics Manager

This is a key role within our small team, with the main aim of having someone who has an overarching view of all logistics including, stock, session preparation and co-ordination of materials to and from our large freelance team. This role will cross practical and administrative duties.

Based in our offices in Easton, Bristol. 

Main duties will be a balance of practical and administration skills & include:

  • Packaging & checking boxes of workshop materials
  • Maintaining & implementing systems to keep order in the packing room
  • Overview & prioritisation of all packing and allocation of workshop materials 
  • Liaising with workshop leaders over parcel deliveries, and providing them with their sessions details. 
  • Updating and maintaining databases
  • Booking couriers

Hours of work:

Hours will fluctuate depending on how busy we are, but will be in the range of 12 - 20 hours per week (ideally split over a minimum of 3 days). Spring/ Summer will be busier than Autumn/ Winter. Pay is £9.00 per hour. 

We are ideally seeking someone that will grow with us as we get busier, so flexibility to take on more would be a bonus.
