This is a comprehensive beginners course covering all you need to get started in this bold and satisfying art form. We will cover: Choosing and using different tools, inks and types of lino. How to make a simple one-layer lino cut. Printing using a printing press and printing at home without a press. Combining plates to introduce more than one colour Printing with a gradient of colour. Two A6 (approx) blocks of lino are included in this course. Printing paper is included up to a certain amount further blocks and paper can be purchased from the tutor.
