Fri, 01/11/2019 - Sat, 07/12/2019
Sarah McCallum, owner of Flux, is pleased to announce an exhibition of new work by Stuart Low
Stuart is the final maker of 2019 to exhibit with Flux, as part of a series of exhibitions by renowned, established makers & artists from across the United Kingdom.
About the Artist:
Stuart Low brings together an exhibition of recent paintings and stained glass which are centred around landscape and form personal between connections between walking, place and wellbeing. The artist has spent time in the Brecon Beacons and hills and coastlines of Somerset and Devon influencing the making of this work in the studio.
Stuart is an artist and maker of stained glass working from BV Studios in Bristol. He designs and makes windows to commission for both churches and secular buildings.
He also makes glass on a more intimate scale which sell in a number of galleries across the UK. This work reflects his observations of landscape and nature. It derives from places he visits, walks, or goes to for space and reflection.

As a maker he holds a respect the traditional skills of the craft and as an artist he looks to bring a unique and contemporary spirit to the glass he makes.
