9 Bath Buildings is a creative centre based in a single storey building with a large central communal workspace for all to share surrounded by 10 studios. It has recently been completely refitted. The space is suitable for design, music, photography, carpentry and all creative work. Start ups and small businesses welcome. Situated on Cheltenham Road, BS6 5PT behind KWIK FIT.
Studio space is occupied on a license basis with a minimum of 6-months in the first instance. To make the space affordable sharing of studios is encouraged. As a rule, there is always a space becoming available as people move around. With this in mind, a phone call or email is always welcome so we can notify you when spaces are available. A real sense of creative sharing and support has grown at 9 Bath Buildings and this is a real credit to the occupiers.
STUDIO 6 and Costs
As an example, studio 6 is ground floor facing a large communal space to be used for bigger projects. The space is approximately 140 sq ft with good storage above. The costs amount to £50 per week plus approx £65 per month for bills. All bills a split equally between the 10 studios.
2 people sharing for a year would pay £2600 for the space plus £780 in bills. This equates to £3380 +VAT = £4056 per year or £39 each per week.
Some studios have 3 or 4 people sharing.
