1. NEW ONE-TO-ONE MENTORING PROGRAMME
ArtsMatrix and the Bristol Visual Arts Consortium (BVAC) are inviting applications for a year-long practice-based one-to-one mentoring scheme. This unique scheme offers emerging and mid-career visual artists the opportunity to work in depth with an established, experienced artist to develop their skills and practice and extend their knowledge. Applications are encouraged from artists of a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences.
Prospective men-tees must reside in the West of England (Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucester) and work in a visual arts practice to be eligible for the scheme. Prospective mentors must no longer be in full-time education. The programme will most benefit individual visual artists interested in critical support for the development of their practice.
