7. EDWARD DE BONO ON CREATIVITY AT THE WATERSHED

Date: 27 April 2007 12.45-14.00

Edward de Bono is widely regarded as the world authority in creative and constructive thinking. He invented the concepts of lateral and parallel thinking and has written over 70 books.

His new book How to Have Creative Ideas, argues that creativity makes life more fun, more interesting and more full of achievement. De Bono argues that too many people believe that creativity is something you are born with and the rest can only envy. This is a negative attitude that is completely mistaken. Creativity is a skill that can be learned, developed and applied.

His work is an ideal resource for business executives, not-for profit leaders, council officers and members, teachers and academics – indeed all who seek to develop creative thinking and creativity in the workplace, office and at home. This is an essential session for those who want to tune up their creativity and for anyone who wants to challenge themselves to get out of the habit of thinking about certainties, and start contemplating possibilities!

Cost £15.00 (to include copy of How to Have Creative Ideas), call Watershed Box Office on 0117 927 5100 to book a place.
