Journey into the centre of the Earth and eventually, if you dig deep enough you will reach the core. Journey to the paintworks, Bristol this summer and you may also come across ‘Core’, this year’s University of Plymouth Colleges, Taunton, Somerset’s first ever full fine art honours degree exhibition.

Whilst creating a body of studio work to exhibit the 20 artists exhibiting have also contributed to designing a fully illustrated catalogue which supports the show. Each artist has incorporated an ‘essential part’ that becomes the core of their work. The result is a show full of diversity that includes 3D installation, sculpture, film, photography and painting.

Much of the work is for sale, providing a great opportunity to acquire affordable art from emerging artists in what promises to be a visually intriguing and exciting exhibition.

A full colour illustrated catalogue to compliment the exhibition is also available.
