On successful completion of an MA in Glass, Milly Frances moved to Bristol in 2002 and set up Striking Glass, an architectural glass studio. Milly produces individually designed glass artworks for private and corporate clients using a wide variety of exciting techniques.

Inspiration for Milly’s unique designs is taken from a range of sources, including literature, the natural world and ideas generated by her clients’ interests. Milly’s design decisions also take into consideration the fabric of the building and its’ environment.

With eleven years experience of designing and making architectural art glass behind her, Milly is able to offer a complete service, from concept to installation. Her commitment to customer care and quality ensures that each commission is approached professionally and completed to the highest standard.

Milly teaches glass at Bristol School of Art and has lectured at Wolverhampton University. She is a selected member of the Devon Guild and exhibits nationally.
