Dom’s Coffee House: Group Art Exhibition

Mon, 30/10/2017 - Sun, 17/12/2017

Greetings!  Just wanted to invite you out to an upcoming exhibition in Bristol of some cool independent artists.  This is the second exhibition at Dom’s since it was opened last year.  With support and gratitude, Dom’s hope to be a place that supports local art and artists as a wonderful space where they can display and sell works.

The exhibition will feature three local artists.

Douglas Karson likes bold colour and playful works.  With a history of successful sales and exhibitions, his paintings reflect his perception of the world, shaped by yoga and meditation.  Quiet and loud at the same time, there is a sense of calm in Douglas Karson works.  He loves to see the joy people get when they connect with his pieces.  A writer, musician, baker and teacher, he creates art with ecstatic joy. www.dougkarson.com

Tim Burroughs has long been active on the Bristol poetry and music scene.  After successful displays on multiple art trails throughout the city, he’s participating in an extended exhibition for the first time.  His paintings are intimate reflections on his life and travels.  Painting landscapes on various mediums with a delicate touch, his work reflects his optimism on life and skill with a brush.  https://www.facebook.com/TimBurroughsArtist/

Ziggy Hill is an amazing abstract artist who has traveled the world with his craft.  His works are mysterious and playful, asking questions and making demands on viewers.  With a light touch, he manages to bring about strong emotions that reflect back onto the audience.

“I've always had a desire to express or communicate but also hide and mind my own business, i guess painting is a nice middle ground, look at it or don't.” Ziggy  http://ziggyhill.com/

Opening Party - Saturday 4 November 2017, 5-7pm upstairs at Dom’s Coffee House, 23 - 25 St. Augustines Parade, Bristol BS1 4UL.

With the exhibition running through untill Sunday 17 December 2017.

We invite you to come and enjoy this exhibition along with a great cup of coffee at Dom’s.

Feel free to email with any questions.

Kind Regards,

Douglas Karson - dougkarson@gmail.com
