Making an Artist's Journal - NEW 6-WEEK COURSE by Permission to Draw

Tue, 21/02/2012 - Tue, 27/03/2012

Do you wish you could draw?  Or can you draw but never seem to find the time to pick up your sketchbook?  Come and learn with me how to make an artist’s journal.  This is a very exciting way of getting yourself to create beautiful pages every day - about your life, your interests or your travels, any subject you like, while learning lots of art school tips and techniques along the way.  You will also gain confidence very quickly, as well as discover your own unique style, and you will be surprised at how quickly you progress using the methods I suggest.

For beginners and those who want to get back into drawing - Tuesdays, 2.00-4.00 pm.

Coexist, Hamilton House, 80 Stokes Croft, BRISTOL, BS1 3QY..

Materials needed to begin:

- One or two rollerball-type pens such as Pilot Hi-Tecpoint 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 or similar;

- A sketchbook with cartridge paper at least 109lb (160 gsm2) thickness – Daler-Rowney have a good selection.  Choose one you really like (spiral or hardbound)  and one you will be happy to carry about as it will be your constant companion.

- An ordinary small notebook to take notes in.

Other materials will be suggested as the course proceeds but these are not compulsory.

COST:  £75.00 for the 6-week course.  For details of how to enrol, please visit www.permissiontodraw.com
