Come and have a go with a fun craft technique!
I am running a series of one off workshops throughout Autumn 2010. The workshops are aimed at beginners but are also suitable for those wishing to build on existing skills. The group will be small, the atmosphere relaxed and friendly and I will do my best to instruct and support you. It’s up to you whether you follow the examples or let your imagination run wild! Either way, I will do my best to ensure that you enjoy the process and leave with a piece of artwork to be proud of. This is a great opportunity to create something unique for your home or as a gift.
The workshops are open to adults and children over the age of 12 and will last approx 4 hrs they are held in a studio space in Eastville. The workshop price of £45 each (Group bookings price negotiable) includes all materials, tuition, coffee and tea. The only thing you will need to bring is an apron or an old shirt, as some of the products can stain clothing. The tiles will be provided, they are hand painted in a vast selection of colour and pattern and to begin with you will have a smashing time breaking them into the shape and size you want. Then you will arrange them according to your design, grout and finish the item.
