This is a Taster Day covering all the basics of Silversmithing. Design and make your very own ring! Learn how to form and shape silver wire, pierce out shapes from silver sheet, and solder them together to create your own individual ring to finish and take home with you.
Our taster course includes all the basic skills and techniques of silversmithing, e.g. sawing silver sheet, soldering, filing and shaping, finishing and polishing. Students will be guided through the process of making a silver ring, step-by-step.
Not only will you leave the course with your first beautiful piece of silverwork, but also, with the skills to further explore the exciting realm of Silversmithing. All silver, materials and tools are provided, along with refreshments.
