Bikebeard and the Sea of Love at St.Pauls Carnival 2010
A six day workshop run by Spoke'n'Chain, that will give participants a hands-on introduction to the art of decorating a bicycle for fun, for carnivals and parades or as a piece of art. Running concurrently alongside the workshops will be an exhibition of costumed bicycles at the Create Centre. Some of the work produced in My First Bicycle School of Arts will be displayed in this rolling exhibition. Feedback and input from this course will go towards creating a handbook for bicycle costuming to prepare Bristol for its first Cycling Carnival in September.
