Scrapstore Roadshows are the rural outreach programme from Children’s Scrapstore, where we turn a village hall into a Scrapstore for the day! They are a great way to get hold of low cost art materials for work with adults and kids. Our scrap includes all sorts of useful items such as pots, fabric, card, netting, tubes, plastic tubs and more. On the day we also offer a free art and craft workshop. This is ideal for childminders, parents and play workers to learn new skills in using scrap.
The events are open to everyone, both members and the general public, offering access to training and materials for everyone from local rural areas. Entry is free to Scrapstore members and £2 for non members. A bin bag full of scrap is around £4, but if you have your own bag you would like to fill, please bring that. Roadshows are open from 11am – 2pm
