We stock an extensive range of products for a wide variety of glass arts and associated crafts including: stained glass, fusing and slumping, lamp work, traditional glass painting, engraving, mosaics, and precious metal clay (PMC). We cater for complete beginners, hobbyists, students, tutors and trade customers; offering creative choice over a range of prices. We employ experienced glass artists who can offer thorough technical and creative advice to our customers.
Our shop is open 7 days a week for visiting customers and telephone orders but you can access our products 24 hours a day with our online shop. Next day delivery courier service available for telephone and internet orders.
Courses
Creative Glass Guild, runs an extensive range of taster day, weekend and ongoing courses for beginners, improvers, and artists wanting to fine tune their skills.
Courses include: stained glass, glass fusing and plate making, engraving and sandblasting, traditional glass painting, fused glass jewellery, silversmithing, precious metal clay, and fabulous fused glass wedding favours. Exciting new courses are planned for the near future so keep an eye on the website for updates! Course numbers are kept to between and 6 – 12 places (depending on course) to ensure individual attention. Places fill up quickly, so book early to guarantee your place!
Hire
Tools, equipment and bench space hire at the spacious Bristol studio, make exploring glass arts accessible without investing in expensive purchases and for those without space to set up a workshop. Bench space is available to hire by the day and includes the use of basic tools. Our kilns, sandblaster, and core drill are available for hire in-store; with soldering irons, grinders, and light boxes available to hire for use with bench space or at home. We have staff on hand to help with advice and tips, so spend the day at our studios getting creative! Phone ahead to book for all hire enquiries.
Studio
In-house design studio Creative Glass Works is located in the same premises. The studio undertakes expert repairs and restoration projects from small door panels to ecclesiastical work. We also undertake traditional and contemporary commissions for private and public clients.
