Can Creative Coaching Help You?
Are you stuck and unable to move forward?
Do you want to review where you are now and decide where you want to go next?
AND plan how you are going to get there?
Bristol Creatives' Coaching Service can help you. Our Creative Coaches will help you analyse where you are now and what is stopping you from succeeding. They will help you look to the future and develop a realistic action plan to help you on your way. They can also help you structure your time and energy and find the resources you need to help you reach your goals and be there to support you along the way.
One-to-one support can be tailored to your requirements and be delivered via one or more coaching sessions (we recommend 1.5 hours for the first session and then 1 hour for any following sessions) and, if necessary, these sessions can be interspersed with email and phone support, all scheduled so as to allow time for your ideas and plans to develop between meetings.

In 1993 Sally took a year out to travel in Mexico and Central America where she worked with local artists and crafts people learning to make seed bead jewellery. When she came back from her travels she started selling her early jewellery creations at Camden Lock, Portobello and Spitalfields Market. In 1996 she relocated to the West Country attended a business start-up course, won a grant and bursary from the Princes Trust and set up in business as an artist and designer maker. Sally set up her first online store www.inspirals.co.uk back in 1997. She now also works to commission making bespoke wedding and engagement rings to order and has recently started a new business making fascinators and running workshops - www.featherandflower.co.uk.

Lisa Malyon is a visual artist and a member for Bristol Creatives. As a Creative Coach Lisa works with small businesses and sole traders to help them to expand their businesses and improve their profile in the market place. Lisa has extensive experience in coaching and mentoring.
Having worked in various office environments, Lisa returned to college as a mature student and graduated from Loughborough College of Art and Design with a degree in woven textile design. Following a move to London, Lisa worked in the buying office for Debenhams for four years; beginning in women’s-wear before moving across to the home interiors division where she was responsible for buying a range for the contemporary home department. Working in the highly reactive and fast-paced retail environment taught Lisa organisational skills, how to approach problems in a methodical way and an ability to prioritise a heavy workload.
As an artist herself, Lisa has a great deal of empathy with creative people and particularly enjoys exploring the challenges and opportunities of working with small businesses. Recent exhibitions of her ‘Built in Bristol’ drawings include St George’s Concert Hall, Arnos Vale Cemetery and Harvey Nichols. In 2009 Lisa joined 59 graffiti artists to decorate the perimeter fence at the Brisfest music festival.
Lisa is currently working with a range of clients including Visual Artists, Graphic Designers and Textile Designers and has mentoring and coaching for over three years. She has key skills in working with small businesses on time management, prioritising workloads, organising and office management. Lisa also draws on her fashion and home interior retail experience; through recognising current trends, marketing and display.
